⚠️ Historical Document Notice
This page contains historical documentation from the BOA/RCA/RP era. It is not the current authoritative specification of VCDesign. Please refer to the current Core specifications (core/core.yaml, core/policies.yaml, core/metrics.yaml) for authoritative guidance.

This concept has been superseded by the Core + Policies + Metrics model. Refer to specs/core/ for current definitions.

This document represents the conceptual lineage that led to the current model.

Japanese-Specific Boundaries (Untranslated)

The following concepts exist strictly within the Japanese context and act as boundaries for the design attitude.
They are intentionally excluded from English definitions to preserve the focus on Structure and Protocol.

Optimization Pressure Canonical
Context (JP Only)

常に高速な改善・最適化を求め続ける現代システム環境そのものを指す概念。 単なる optimization ではなく、「止まれない」「立ち止まれない」空気・圧力・前提を含む。

Why it is not translated
The Japanese term implies an inescapable atmospheric pressure. Terms like "Optimization pressure" or "Continuous improvement" fail to capture the compulsion and speed inherent in the original concept.
Recreation Premise Canonical
Context (JP Only)

将来必ず「作り直される」ことを前提に、コードではなく 価値・責任・判断境界を保存する設計態度。

Why it is not translated
The Japanese word "Zentei (Premise)" carries a deep nuance of resignation, resolve, and responsibility. Technical translations like "Rebuildable design" or "Redesign assumption" sound too lightweight and miss the attitudinal weight.
Judgment Stop Canonical
Context (JP Only)

判断できないことを認め、あえて決めないという 人間側の能動的行為。

Difference from "Decision Stop"
"Decision Stop" defines a structure or rule. "Handan Teishi (Judgment Stop)" refers to the psychological act and courage of a human stopping the process amidst pressure.
The Person Who Continues Canonical
Context (JP Only)

役割であると同時に、態度・覚悟・引き受けを含んだ存在概念。

Difference from "Continuer"
"Continuer" is easily interpreted as a system role or function. The Japanese "Mono (Person)" implies personality, stance, and solitude, placing the center of gravity on the human element.
Monument / Guideline Working
Context (JP Only)

- 石碑:重く、変わらず、参照され続ける構造 - 補助線:軽く、読まれ、消えていく説明

Why it is not translated
These function as specific design metaphors within Japanese. Translating them breaks the poetic symmetry and the cultural weight associated with "Stone Monument" vs "Auxiliary Line".
Take Responsibility Working
Context (JP Only)

判断の結果を「処理する」のではなく、自分のものとして背負う行為。

Why it is not translated
"Assuming responsibility" is often formal or procedural. The Japanese phrase implies emotion, resolve, and irreversibility (bearing the burden as one's own).
